A Word About Radar

Don't be fooled by hype! There are only three approved frequency bandwidths allocated for traffic radar monitoring: X, K and Super wideband Ka. To date, there are more than 44 different models of traffic radar guns sold to law enforcement agencies across the USA that transmit on X, K or Super wideband Ka. Rest assured, whichever BEL detector you choose, your BEL detector will detect ALL traffic radar bands.

Safety Warning System All BEL detectors detect encoded signals from SWS™ transmitters and provide distinct alerts for Highway Construction & Maintenance, Highway Hazard Zones, Weather Related Hazards, Emergency & Slow Moving Vehicles and Travel & Convenience information. Express 930 provides digital voice and text SWS™ messages.
